Op. Before starting treatment, Op. Dr. Anıl Kaya assesses each patient's complaint and expectations in detail and builds a personalised plan from the examination findings. Because every patient's eye structure and needs differ, treatment choice is usually shaped by comparing several options together with the patient. Before recommending a surgical or laser method, he checks suitability with detailed tests; where a patient is not suitable, an alternative method or simple monitoring may be recommended instead. For someone considering laser eye surgery, for example, corneal thickness, corneal topography and dry eye are measured first, and ICL or regular monitoring may be suggested if these are not suitable. Follow-up examinations after surgery are scheduled at set intervals to check that recovery is progressing as expected.

Op. Dr. Anıl Kaya completed his medical training at Hacettepe University and was awarded the title of Doctor of Medicine in 2015. He went on to train in ophthalmology at Namık Kemal University Faculty of Medicine in Tekirdağ, becoming a specialist in 2022.

He then took up a post at Doğubeyazıt State Hospital, before returning to Istanbul to work at Global Eye Hospital and Kartal Kızılay Private Hospital. Since 2025 he has seen patients at his own practice in Kartal, on the Asian side of Istanbul.

Having worked in state, private and specialist hospital settings has given him experience with a wide range of patients and presentations. He follows national and international congresses and current surgical techniques, and has contributed to more than ten publications, presentations and clinical studies. Training in English lets him follow international literature and surgical resources directly.
