Explicit Consent — Health Information

Your doctor's processing of your health data for the purposes of medical diagnosis and treatment does not depend on your consent: it rests on Article 6(3)(e) of the KVKK. This statement covers one thing only:

• The transmission of messages containing your health information, together with any images and documents you send, through communication services whose servers are located outside Turkey, such as WhatsApp — and therefore the transfer of that information abroad

How your personal data is processed in general is explained in the Privacy Notice. We suggest you read it before agreeing to this statement.

• Your name and contact details (telephone and, if given, e-mail)
• The health information you share in your message: your complaint, your age, treatments you have had, medicines you use
• Photographs, test results, reports and similar images or documents that you choose to send
• The summary of your answers that you choose to attach from the tools on this site

This data is processed in order to answer your question, carry out an initial assessment, plan an appointment and communicate with you. WhatsApp is provided by Meta and messages travel through that service's infrastructure outside Turkey. When you write to us by e-mail, the servers of your e-mail provider may also be located abroad.

The data is not shared with anyone for any other purpose, and it is never used for advertising or marketing.

Turkish law requires that, for an incidental transfer abroad, explicit consent be obtained after the possible risks have been explained. What you should know:

• The country the data is transferred to may not provide the same level of personal data protection as Turkey.
• The provider's own privacy policy and the law of the country where it operates will apply; the authorities of that country may request access to data within their own legal framework.
• WhatsApp states that it applies end-to-end encryption to message content; however, information about who you contact and when may still be processed by the provider.
• A message or document you share may be backed up on your own device and in the application at the other end.

If you are writing from the European Union or the United Kingdom, please also read the EU/UK section of the Privacy Notice: Turkey is not covered by an adequacy decision, and a transfer of this kind relies on your explicit consent under Article 49(1)(a) of the GDPR.

Giving explicit consent is entirely optional and no service depends on it. If you would rather not consent, you can book an appointment on +90 546 737 26 45 without sharing health information in a message, and give us that information in person during the examination.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to destek@dranilkaya.com. Withdrawal takes effect for the future; processing carried out on the basis of your consent until that date remains lawful. Together with your withdrawal you may also ask us to delete the messages held for communication purposes, except for records we are required to keep by law.

I declare that I have read and understood the Privacy Notice published by Op. Dr. Anıl Kaya and the possible risks described in this statement; and that I freely give my explicit consent to messages containing my health information, together with my images and documents, being transmitted through services whose servers are located outside Turkey, such as WhatsApp, and therefore transferred abroad, for the purposes of initial assessment, appointment planning and communication.
